Main Responsibilities:
Managing and assisting with the planting of new garden installations with starts and seeds. We offer full training to ensure that all work is done according to the Rooted Garden planting principles. The ability and willingness to follow these principles is imperative for success in this position.
In addition to planting new gardens we offer bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly garden services to clients. This includes tending, harvesting, removal of spent plants, adding fresh compost, and planting for the next season. We have processes and procedures to utilize for installs and maintenance. As long as you have basic gardening skills and experience gardening, we will teach you our system.
We are looking for someone who is:
-Flexible, in regards to weather delays, having to stop and grab some plants that we might be out of or something that a client requested, job delays might result in making adjustments to your schedule for planting.
-A team player with a strong work ethic who wants the best for our clients.
-Ability to carry compost bags (40 lbs) and bring plants in their vehicle. Ideally, our project manager handles amending beds with compost, but there may be days you need to add bags to beds.
-This is a 20-40 hour Monday-Friday position. You may not work every day. We can discuss further in the interview process.
– As your knowledge grows, we can also utilize this position as a garden coach (you could work extra hours).
– We pay $25 an hour to experienced gardeners. You’re paid as a contractor. As your knowledge grows, we can discuss raising your hourly rate. We are willing to hire applicants with less experience gardening and train you. Compensation is based on experience.

Required Skills:
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks each day
• Effective time management skills and the ability to understand the task and time necessary to ensure deadlines are met
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Independent work ethic, integrity, and teamwork.
• Coordinate and work closely with sales and installation team
• Must possess basic knowledge of kitchen gardening or an eagerness to learn.
• Have a valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in US

This is the PERFECT position for college students, recent college grads, or anyone who wants to get paid to work in our beautiful gardens every day. We can work around your school schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
Assisting with the planting of new garden installations with starts and seeds. We offer full training to ensure that all work is done according to the Rooted Garden planting principles. You will work in tandem with one of our highly trained Garden Managers.
In addition to planting new gardens we offer bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly garden services to clients. This includes tending, harvesting, removal of spent plants, adding fresh compost, and planting for the next season. We have processes and procedures to utilize for installs and maintenance. As long as you have a love of gardening and working outdoors, we will teach you our system.
We are looking for someone who is:

Learn More and Apply for the Garden Installation Assistant Position
Main Responsibilities:
Help install our custom kitchen gardens. Main responsibilities include grass removal, as well as edging, gravel, and soil installation.
Assisting Garden Manager with the planting of new garden installations with starts and seeds.
Adding soil and compost to maintenance client’s garden beds and assisting Garden Manager with maintenance tasks.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A hard worker who enjoys working outdoors
-A team player with a strong work ethic who takes direction well.
-Ability to lift 50+ pounds
-This is a 20-40 hour Monday-Friday position. You may not work every day. We can discuss further in the interview process.
– As your knowledge grows, you could earn more as you’re able to manage a team
– This position starts at $18 an hour. You’re paid as a contractor.
