First, we’ll schedule a time for us to stop by your home. All of our consultations are in-person and include a visit from one of our highly trained garden consultants. The visits last around 45 min-1 hour.
Once we get to your home, we’ll want to get to know you and your space. What do you want to grow? Why do you want a garden? Are you looking for a new hobby? Are you wanting organic, fresh produce right outside your door year-round in Houston? Maybe you don’t want to do the physical work of gardening or have time to do it, but you do want to have year-round access to organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs right outside your back door.
Whatever your reasons for deciding this is your year to start growing, we’re here for it and want to know how to support you best.
We'll help you find the perfect spot for your garden based on what you want to grow. We’ll assess the sun patterns in your yard to make sure your garden will get enough sunlight and make sure we have access to irrigation or your sprinkler system.
We’ll talk about a garden design, pick out materials for your garden boxes, make gravel selections, and discuss trellis options.
Your consultant will take photos and measurements of the proposed garden site.
Before we leave we answer any other questions you may have about gardening or any other areas in your yard where you have landscaping needs. Did you know we also design and install pollinator spaces and plant berries and fruit trees?
In about a week, you’ll have a custom garden design for your space and an itemized estimate for your project in your inbox!
How Much Does a Consultation Cost?
If you live nearby, your consultation could be FREE! Yep. You get an on-site visit from one of our knowledgeable garden coaches AND a custom garden design for FREE.
If you live outside of the mile radius we are currently able to service with complimentary consults, the price of your consultation is $150.
