Panel Trellises

Panel trellises are tall, flat structures for growing vining vegetables such as tomatoes, beans and cucumbers during the warm seasons, tomatillos and yard long beans during the hot season and peas and fava beans during the cooler months.

This simple trellis design can add interest to the back of a border garden along a fence, home or garage.

The Rooted Garden team has utilized panel trellises along the middle of a wider garden for planting space on each side of the panel.
